Notebook relating to the American Bible Society, 1857-1862.

Notebook dated 1861, containing manuscript entries in an unidentified hand of bookstore accounts of Isaac G. Bliss, agent of the American Bible Society. Most of the accounts have been pasted over with clippings from the Bible Society Record dated 1857-1862, relating to Isaac G. Bliss and to the mission work in Turkey, Armenia and the Middle East. Some of the accounts relate to the British and Foreign Bible Society for which Bliss may have been agent. Laid in is an undated four-page manuscript (possibly holograph) report on the Northern Armenian Mission by Isaac G. Bliss.
